There are really lots of areas where special-purpose machines and devices may be applied; we strive to keep finding these opportunities in cooperation with our customers. Reasons for such specific requirements vary; however, the absolute majority of cases are based on the partial or full change of an original manual production process to an automatic one.

In the first phase of automated production growth, primarily concerning large series production, the benefits of automation showed themselves immediately because, after all, there were no other solutions regarding the required production volumes. In the second phase then, the automation of small series production was taken into consideration primarily because of the increasing requirements for quality products. A well-designed and maintained machine is really capable of ensuring a quality of production, which is beyond the reach of manual work. As the practice shows, 100% quality is just an essential condition of the cooperation for many customers.

At present, the third stage of production process automation can be observed, as companies and firms increasingly struggle with the lack of a qualified labour force. Similarly, as is the case in other developed Western European countries, qualified labourers are also very expensive in our country; an alternative way of coping with this situation is the possibility of faster amortisation of investments into special-purpose machines that would substitute them at least partially.

This trend will strengthen even further in the future in almost all of the industrial sectors. It is imperative to get ready for the situation when, in the future, there will be workplaces with service robots which one would not probably expect today.
